You may ONLY reserve seats in DEXCON 13 events if you are pre-registered. Click here to pre-register for DEXCON 13 if you have not already done so.

To reserve your spots in the events you want to play in, send eMail to THIS ADDRESS ONLY and include your name and the events you want to register for BY CODE ONLY! NOTE: You may ONLY choose Event Codes which are SHOWN IN GREEN. DO NOT CHOOSE CODES WHICH ARE SHOWN IN RED. Red Event Codes indicate later rounds in tournaments which you will be automatically advanced to if you win the preliminary rounds.

We will reply within 48 hours with a confirmation that your reservations were received. If you do NOT get a confirmation, assume that your codes are NOT received and try again. Note that you MUST include a valid eMail reply-to address for us to reach you to confirm!

The Event Listing contains vital information about each event, in the format shown below:

Event ID; Type of Event; Event Name; Event Author. Event Description. Event Day & Time; Round (1); Materials (2). Level (3); Attitude (4), Age Notification (5). Next Round (6) (if applicable); See Also: Repetition of event or round (if applicable).

In the interest of conserving space, repeat listings of the same event or multiple round events will contain only the title, a reference to the first listing, time and round information. Note that prizes are usually NOT listed; all prizes will be gallery level certificates (or applicable awards), unless otherwise specified. In the case of cash prizes, Double Exposure reserves the right to withdraw the grand prize based on attendance of the specific event. All cash value prizes will be awarded as certificates or shopping sprees for the Dealers' Room, and MAY be transferred to future Double Exposure conventions.

(6) All "Next Round" listings show which specific round or session you will be scheduled for automatically if you advance. This information is vital, and you should be aware of it, although you CAN reserve an alternate selection which takes place at the same time as a future advancement round. At the appropriate time, you will cancel one or the other. Note that all available events are shown in GREEN, and all advancement rounds are shown in RED.

S0345: Knife 7.1.45.A.kram(3)-B; "The Vegetable Chop". Got to the convention early? Waiting for Opening Ceremonies? Come on up to the Staff Suite and help the staff chop vegetables for the convention! We got carrots! We got celery! We got bunnies! No wait, we don't got bunnies. Never mind. Yes, we're serious (can't you tell?). Prizes will be awarded for volume and finesse and bunnies (no, wait...). Wednesday, 6:00PM - 8:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided. S0394: Stitch & Bitch with Kate. Join us for our first event of this kind, Stitch and i*tch with Kate. Fiber arts folks of all ilk - knitters, crocheters, weavers, whomever, are welcome to grab a cuppa and join us for conversation, support and to show off your latest project. Never picked up yarn before in your life? No problem! We'll have extra supplies, and as long as what you're interested in is within our realm of experience, we'll show you some of the basics. S0455: The "Twit of the Year 2010" Contest. One of DEXCON's most famous events! In this contest of sheer insanity, our contestants are asked to do perfectly rational things - to the rest of the world. Whoever can screw up the most common everyday actions will win the coveted "Twit of the Year" trophy! Thursday, 6:00PM - 8:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided. S0551: Strip Twister. In the last few years, many contestants went behind closed doors to compete in this most unusual tournament. When they emerged an hour later, nobody would talk about what actually took place. What will happen this year? Sign up and find out! Friday, 9:00AM - 11:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. S0575: The DEXCON 13 Improv. DEXCON's infamous Improv! The fun begins with the "open mike" round. Each competitor has two minutes to tell a joke, do an impression, or whatever. A panel of judges will narrow the field to 4 finalists who will play a series of improvisation-based games in the spirit of "Whose Line is it Anyway". Join this event ONLY as a contestant. To be an audience member, just show up. Friday, 12:00PM - 2:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Very Silly, All Ages.

S0614: Dueling Easels. In this original DEXCON event, four of our guest artists will be present to begin drawing/painting a subject. The job of the contestants is to verbally present their favorite persona so that the artists can best capture the image on the canvas. whoever relays his concept to the collected artists best, wins! Enter this tournament ONLY if you want to be a contestant. If you just want to watch, all you need to do is show up! Friday, 3:00PM - 5:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided. S0638: "The Weakest Link" presented by Bruce Neiger & Brendan Herlihy. DEXCON 13 is proud to present its version of the world's most ruthless game show! A team of ten players will compete for a magnificent prize pot of up to $1,000 to spend in the DEXCON 13 Dealers' Room! To win that money, they'll have to work together as a team. However, nine of them will leave with nothing, as one-by-one, they're voted off as: The Weakest Link! Everyone who signs up will take the qualifying test to compete for the player spots. If you don't get in that way, no worries - up to three lucky losers will get on the team by lottery. Come to play, stay to watch. A wicked good time will be had by all! S0664: Your Character, Yourself. Join our guest artists in this special event in which your favorite persona will be captured as a drawing. S0716: The DEXCON 13 Music Jam. An ALL-NEW event for DEXCON! If you have an instrument with you, come up to the stage and jam into the night with other attendees! S0723: The Super Llama Toss. In this ALL-NEW, super-duper revamped and updated version of the classic and infamous Llama Toss, we still do not have a clue what we're doing. Saturday, 8:00AM - 9:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Very Silly, 18 & Over ONLY.

S0779: The DEXCON 13 $100 Pun Contest. Our infamous Pun Contest pits the brightest (er, wackiest) contestants against each other in a knock-down, drag-out, groan-producing brawl. In this revamped version, players will compete to compose puns based on common English expressions. Once a pun is used, it cannot be used again. To make matters worse, the audience can shout out anything they want, and if an audience member steals a pun, it is also off-limits. A panel of judges will make decisions on the quality of puns. The grand prize winner will receive a trophy and a $100 shopping spree in the DEXCON 13 Dealers' room! Join this event ONLY as a contestant. To be an audience member, just show up. S0845: "Gamers' Deal or No Deal" presented by Randy Dannenfelser. A DEXCON 13 EXCLUSIVE! Dann Russkett Games returns with this popular game show in 2010 - Gamers' Deal or No Deal! Contestants will choose a sealed prize, and then they will eliminate those prizes that are NOT theirs - all the time being taunted by the banker, who will try to get them to agree with a deal. Join this event ONLY as a contestant. To be an audience member, just show up. REAL Prizes will be awarded in the form of DEXCON 13 Dealers' Room Shopping Sprees! Saturday, 6:00PM - 8:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

S0873: "1 vs. The Mob!" presented by Bruce Neiger & Brendan Herlihy. DEXCON 13 gonna be the witness to the ultimate test of cerebral fitness. In each game, one person, picked at random from the audience, will be pitted head-to-head in a battle for general knowledge supremacy, against the rest of the Mob! The longer it goes, the more the pot grows. Up to $100 in DEXCON 13 Dealer's Room money could be at stake in each of several games. And if the player blows it? The Mob splits the money! The team that made your link weak, your family feud, and your climb up the pyramid worth one-hundred-dollars is back, with the most ochlocratic ("mob ruled") experience in game show history. S0874: Pixy Stix Fort Building. Every year, conventioneers come to the Con Suite in the middle of the night and secretly construct intricate buildings using only Pixy Stix left over from SUGARFEST. S0924: "The Dreaded Spelling Bee" presented by Brendan Herlihy. Once again, we twist the traditional spelling bee until it bleeds chunky honey. Last year, in our special bonus rounds, we had you spell celebrity names pulled from the pages of "Star" magazine for the right to pass on any future word. Who knows what's in store this year. We do... but we're not telling. Because it is bitter, and because it is our bee. Winner gets milk and cookies. Saturday, 12:00AM - 4:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. S0968: The Double Exposure Summer Gaming Auction. A Double Exposure tradition! Join us for an auction of used games and other science fiction and fantasy memorabilia in a fast-paced auction. Items for bid include rare collectible cards, old out-of-print games and many surprises. Sponsored by several area stores, the Dealer's Room and Double Exposure. Registration for the event will be required, and credit cards can be put on file for easy processing during the event. Sunday, 11:00AM - 3:00PM; One Session; All Materials Provided.
