When Hanse Davion in his wedding toast gave his bridge, Melissa Steiner Davion the Capellan Confederation everyone knew he was serious, and the fighting on Tikonov is an example of just how deadly earnest he is. Bravo Company, 1st Battalion of the Seventh Crucis Lancers have made a risky assault drop right into the middle of the 1st Company of Hamilton's Highlanders. It is PPCs at ten paces as the Crucis Lancers attempt to establish a drop-zone inside the Earthwerks Mech Factory and Hamilton's Highlanders does their best to destroy them before their reinforcements arrive. It is a Company versus Company scenario at the height of the 4th Succession Wars. This is a world wide event put forth by Catalyst Games as part of the 25th anniversary of BattleTech. During the the early days of the Blakist Jihad, Three Blakist divisions have pounded Avalon City into a rubble strewn battlefield where advances are measured by the street-corner and units reorganize on the fly with each sun-rise. A scatch team of Davion Resistance fighters built around survivors from the Davion Heavy Guard are attacking a Blakist stockade inside a converted bank in downtown Avalon City. The Blakist troops defending the site are newly arrived and looking for a fight, the Davion Resistance Reinforced Lance wants to rescue the prisoners before the Blakists have them shot or worse.
