Now he and the townsfolk gallop towards the future, which holds no small share of uncertainty. A strange ailment has stricken the townsfolk and left the sawbones completely befuddled. Odd rumors of a monster attacking saloon patrons have left the citizens in a state of dread, uncertain whether the "heroes" can keep them safe. Even hearing all of this straight from the horse's mouth, there are still folk who chalk it all up to whiskey and laudanum. Adding to the more immediate problems, the players are still the strangers on the ranch - will they learn more about each other and just why they've all been led to this watering hole? Can the GM's stop beating this metaphor like, well, a dead horse? Bush" this game should be funny to you. At a Mid-Term Political Debate, you can play your favorite (or least favorite) political figure as they soundbite America into the ground. L018: "Grimm Tales" by Will Wagner & Andy Kirschbaum. Welcome to Whitechapel, London. It is December, 1888 and there have been a number of grisly murders in the last few months. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is poking their noses everywhere, stirring up a lot of things, but they have made no real progress in finding a killer. This would normally be a side note to most Londoners, however you are not "most". You, and your community, are special. You are Fables. Ever since the story of your life spread around Europe (and now, the world) you found that, among other things, you no longer seem to age. You didn't start off that way. Actually, your life started off pretty poorly, as most of the stories tell. After some arguments with fate, you were finally able to settle down, only to find this happening. King Henry Cole, also known as the Iron Henry and the Frog King, quickly rose as the leader of the Fairy Tale lands in Europe. When the population of Europe exploded and people started pouring into your lands from all over, something had to be done. King Henry declared that the group, now known as Fables, must retreat from the public eye. The must keep their existence secret from the "normals". Moving to London, your group settled in Whitechapel, at that time a not so affluent, but still nice area of the city. Over the years, the area has gone downhill. This suits the majority of the community just fine, since many of you are trying to avoid notice, and you can always go "uptown" for culture, if you desire. Recently, however, the murders have drawn attention to your home, and you fear they might have some reason. Could it have been the Beast, or the Big Bad Wolf? Maybe it's something much more sinister...Or it could just be the work of a crazy barber, as many of the papers are writing? An original fantasy LARP brought to you by Turtle Shell Productions. Friday, 2:00PM - 6:00PM; One Round; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

L021: Cthulhu Live! 3rd Edition; "The Dark Heart of Africa" by PST Productions. It has been 3 years since the Anglo-Zulu war in the dark continent of Africa. Now this wondrous land is a shining jewel in the British Crown. Many now come here to pay this land a visit, go on Safari or even hunt big game. Others find the indigenous peoples a curosity and enjoy watching their savage practices. Though to the untrained eye, these tribal rituals may seem barbaric, they do provide a needed service. Each ritual is steeped in mystery, some mysteries that should remain in Africa. However the arrogance of the British Crown will soon find out that it may have over reached its powers when they attempt to bring their sense of civiality to the savages. The Dark Heart Of Africa is a mid 1800's event that takes place in the Victorian age. Costumes are encouraged. Pre-generated characters will be provided. For more info and character pre-assignment contact PST Productions. Friday, 7:00PM - 12:00AM; One Round; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Serious, Under 18 Requires Parental Clearance.

But which of the clans is both powerful enough and wise enough to lead? Which of the leaders can garner the support of the five schools? And whom among you might try to stop them? He who rules shall divide the provinces as he sees fit. He who rules shall determine the fates and fortunes for those who now exist. Favors may be granted. Debts may be settled. A corp is looking to give them some help on the sly, and wants to meet at a loud and crowded place, like a party, to see what the Cabal has to say and what they could give if they were going to help. Each player has assigned objectives which reflect the actual views and capabilities that position has in the real world. The game staff most of whom are senior military officers and DoD war game designers - run whichever other countries or organizations are needed. "Real world" dynamics inexorably draw the players toward cooperation in some areas and conflict in others. Unlike other war games where one "team" of players defeats other teams, in the NSDM Game all players are individually ranked by the degree to which they gain advantage for the group they represent. G084: ARDNA: FLESH AND BLOOD; "An Opening in the Guild" by Vin Gallo & Frank Hablawi. A WORLD PREMIERE EVENT! AFB04: Wow, this doesn't come along everyday! Those snobs at the Adventurer's Guild are actually having a membership drive near Dunnadell next week, and are offering full-membership to anyone that can best their stinking testsŠ What? No, I don't know what their tests will be like. Yes, I've heard about the thing with the hydra that those guys down at Burksville had to deal with - but those Burksville guys were chumps, and who'd bring a gnoll to a hydra-fight anyway? Gnolls are balls of fur just wanting to go up in flame. And before you even mention it, I heard all those lame rumors about the "curse" striking people down in Dunnadell, and it's a load of garbage. My mother taught me that old trick years ago, and all us goblins do it - just spread word about pestilence and blood curses whenever there's any real competition in town, and the humans and elves run the hell the other way. Don't tell me you're gonna wuss out just because of a little fear-mongering! The way I figure it, if we lose, at least we have the joy in taking down a few posers with us, and if we win, we'll be elite members of the FREAKIN' ADVENTURER'S GUILD! So, you in, or what?
