There will be one on one, non-lethal fights, but what the people really want to see is the famous magical Labyrinth of Tilsek, located underneath the city, observed by the citizens through magic, and filled with convicts, maniacs and monsters, all fighting each other in an attempt to find the exit...if one even exists. The convicts and maniacs more or less deserve to be there, but what of the monsters? They didn't choose to be born monsters, and really didn't have a way of avoiding their present predicament. Is this really fair? Don't they deserve to be the ones that find freedom? R270: The 2006 U.S. National Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel Unisystem Championship. A WORLD PREMIERE EVENT! In the second U.S. National Championship in the Buffy/Angel Universe, we'll find three brand-new, thrilling stories: one "Buffy" episode, one "Angel" episode, and one amazing crossover episode. In Round 1A, for Buffy players: For years now, it's been known that New York City is the number one American hub for demon trafficking. Like a million underground railroad stops all rolled into one cesspool of humanity, the cover of darkness allows the air and sea ports, the rail stations, buslines and countless transdimensional portals to funnel criminals and illegals nearly anywhere in the country. Nay, the world. You're part of the team that's fighting back. Over the last year, you've stopped countless transfers. You've started working to staunch the flow of undocumented demons into our population through this wretched city. And tonight? You've got word of a HUGE transfer happening at Port Elizabeth. In Round 2B, for Angel players: A family of water demons have requested assistance relocating to Lake Erie. According to your superiors, this should be an easy assignment - typical underground railroad stuff. You're the last handoff in their journey. You pick them up, you make sure they get to their final destination without anybody catching on to what they are or where they're going. Somehow, you suspect they underestimate the difficulty in getting this "special delivery from Scotland" from Port Elizabeth up the Hudson River and through the Erie Canal. Join the cast as they work against all odds to get a 25 foot sea serpent, her 40 foot husband and their offspring safely to their new home without bringing a media storm like the one they're fleeing down on their heads. In Round 2, the Crossover: Our two teams come head to head over the fate of one of the world's most legendary demons. Nessie and her family might very well end up stranded in the Hudson River, if the two teams can't find a way to get along. And if that happens, they likely won't live out the year. Players may only play in ONE preliminary round. The winners at each table (as voted by the players and the GM) will advance to the final round to play for the U.S. National Championship title and a trophy. Friday, 9:00AM - 1:00PM; Round 1A of 2; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: R288. Next Round: R306.
