You may ONLY reserve seats in DEXCON 20 events if you are pre-registered.

To reserve your spot in the events you want to play in, send eMail to: dexcon20@dexposure.com and include your name and the events you want to register for BY CODE ONLY! NOTE: You may ONLY choose Event Codes which are SHOWN IN GREEN. DO NOT CHOOSE CODES WHICH ARE SHOWN IN RED and have LOCKS on them. Red Event Codes indicate locked events which you cannot register for, later rounds in tournaments which you will be automatically advanced to from preliminary rounds, or events which have already filled up to capacity (this page will be updated several times before the convention starts).

NOTE: The CUTOFF for reserving events is 10:00AM EST on Wednesday, July 5. After that time, you can ONLY reserve events by physically entering your name on the Big Board when you arrive at the convention.

We allow you to select second and third choices for a given time slot; indicate this clearly in whatever fashion you'd like, otherwise we will just leave that slot open.

We will reply to your email with a confirmation that your reservations were received as quickly as possible. Note that you MUST include a valid eMail reply-to address for us to reach you to confirm. If you have previously selected LARPs and/or Signature Events, they will be included in this confirmation.


The Event Listing contains vital information about each event, in the format shown below:

In the interest of conserving space, repeat listings of the same event or multiple round events will contain only the title, a reference to the first listing, time and round information. Note that prizes are usually NOT listed; all prizes will be gallery level certificates (or applicable awards), unless otherwise specified. In the case of cash prizes, Double Exposure reserves the right to withdraw the grand prize based on attendance of the specific event. Some cash value prizes will be awarded as certificates or shopping sprees for the Dealers' Room, and MAY be transferred to future Double Exposure conventions.

Q0001: "Breach! 2: A Flarrowverse LARP" by Sacred Grounds Gaming, Inc.. This isn't your typical day at the office. When people say they've been dealt a healthy dose of reality, they probably never realized that a pocket dimension to serve it up to them. Here on "The Beach House", you can party the night away and forget your troubles, or completely immerse yourself in the problems of others. Here, the Suicide Squad is on the loose, ARGUS is getting antsy, and STAR Labs is frantic and searching for answers. Another world just faced crisis and fell, and you just watched it happen. Maybe you're a survivor from a dead world. Maybe you left a great life behind for a higher calling. Either way, you're tending to the multiverse, man, and that ain't easy. Sacred Grounds Gaming presents Breach! 2 - A fan LARP set in the Berlanti/Kresiberg DC television universe (with some liberties taken with the canon). This year, we will be introducing a quicker combat system and a more player-centric character creation system. You can play a character from last year, or come in with a completely new one. Scientists, Refugees, Engineers, Soldiers, and Meta concepts are all welcome. Following our successes using RFID technology last year, we intend to continue to play with interactive electronics to enhance the gaming experience. Q0002: Battlestar Galactica; "Tales of the Rising Star: Roll the Hard Six" by Phoenix Outlaw Productions & Eleventh Hour Productions. A DEXCON 20 EXCLUSIVE! It's been a long ride for the passengers and crew of the Rising Star since the destruction of the Twelve Colonies. Disaster after disaster has plagued the converted medical ship as it has ferried its precious human survivors away from disaster. But now the discovery of a Cylon on board and the uncovering of a mysterious set of coordinates is leading the ailing ship to life altering changes for everyone on board. For at the end of the next jump lies a planet that may hold their salvation...or total destruction. Welcome to the final installment of Tales of the Rising Star as it reaches its conclusion and join up to 75 players as they take on the roles of colonial survivors and military in the Battlestar Galactica universe and face the Cylon threat in this highly freeform game. What you see is what you get - interact with computers, engines, and science problems hands on. Players should have a fair knowledge of the (modern) BSG television series and come with previous LARP experience. Q0003: Bright Story; "Reclamation" by Phoenix Outlaw Productions. A DEXCON 20 EXCLUSIVE! A bastion of love and truth has fallen to the forces of evil. It's up to you and your friends to resolve the trauma that doomed this fortress and retake it in the name of the Bright. Bright Story is a live action role playing game with optional live combat elements, inspired by animated media like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls. You'll level up by making friends and restore your abilities through self-care. Bright Story will have some movement and involve the use of contact-safe weapons to simulate combat. Q0004: Utopia Descending; "Welcome to the Party at the Edge of the World VII" by Imagine Nation. Utopia Descending is a science-fiction fantasy world that is part of an ongoing shared story collaboration between a number of networked chapters. The events of this Utopia Descending event are a part of our continuity, where You-Star potentials from around the world are coming to a massive social event that takes place whenever there is a very viable threat of epic scale. Utopia Descending uses three zones of engagement. The first Zone uses an American Freeform LARP area for those players just looking to role play in the focuses of socializing, political intrigue, and political manipulation. A secondary zone uses toyetic design for crafting, hands on science and research focused puzzles, as well as digital interaction. Lastly, there are locked combat zones which use a contact-safe combat system outlined on the Utopia Descending web page. The combat area will be a low light and intermittent light area. Our primary RP area will have music and neon lights, but the music will be kept to a lower volume to encourage social engagement and the lights will be solid state bright color LEDs. Players will be encouraged to set up character FB Pages as Fictional Characters so that they can live broadcast from their phones directly to their character FB pages. Remember: Higher ratings means more money for your IC company (and more perks for your character). Q0005: The $500 David Stern Memorial Summer Poker Championship. Double Exposure's traditional Poker tournament. Played as No Limit Texas Hold 'Em, tables will be pared down as necessary. The grand prize is a $500 Gift Certificate for the DEXCON 20 Dealers' Room! Numerous small prizes will be awarded throughout the night, including a Bad Beat bonus prize of a 10-Point Prize Certificate, and a Royal Flush JACKPOT! Don't worry, we only hate adventurers. Except the mind flayer, he really doesn't like to be interrupted when he's knitting. Doesn't matter what type of monster you are, even if you're from one of those weird future dimensions- you're welcome to take a load off your tentacles, put down your weapons, and join us to dish dirt on the adventurers you've faced. L0009: "Escaping Steam" presented by Andi Gastonguay. Deep in Mount Hill lives the terrible dragon, Steam. Steam is trying to ruin everything so no one can have an awesome day. Many have traveled through the caverns of the mountain, but all have returned empty handed and sad. The townspeople of Downhill are afraid of living so close to such a mean creature, but are running out of ideas. They have asked your group of young super heroes to tackle the Steam problem, as knights and adventurers have not been successful. Join other super heroes and their trusty teddy bears* on an interactive exploration through Steam’s mountain to hopefully quell the dragon’s rage. *Parents are required to attend the game and will be playing the part of each child’s trusty teddy bear. When the immediate danger has passed the sirens will sound a steady note. The 'all clear' message will also be given on the PA system. This time he's holding group therapy for both superheroes and supervillains who've lost their superpowers. L0014: "LARP Character Essentials" presented by Andi Gastonguay. Join a trained and experienced improvisation actress to learn tips to take your LARP characters to the next level. Using methods from the world of improv you will leave the seminar with an arsenal of tricks to make each of your characters unique people. L0015: CHRONOS; "The Shadow" by Eschaton Media; presented by Eleventh Hour Productions. An Envoy Event! People expelled from Neverland often have problems adjusting to the real world. They are the homeless, the refugees, and the dispossessed. A group of Normies have taken in the Iron Hook and Lost Boys in a local halfway house. They seek to give shelter and to understand the crazy things that seem to be happening around town. For weeks it has been a rewarding and fun filled place, but recently a sense of unease has been skulking around the outskirt. It is a thing of terrible, ravenous hunger that seeks to ensnare those who would succumb to its cunning. Come enter the twisted world of Peter Pan in Never Again. L0016: Cthulhu Live! 3.5; "You Bet Your Life" by PST Productions. A DEXCON 20 EXCLUSIVE! The Game, a traveling venue that only appears once every 72 years has returned. This year it has traveled to America, the year 1929 at the height of the Prohibition Era. Unlike your typical speakeasy casino, this game has much higher risks and rewards. If your luck holds out, you will walk away with a prize worth more than gold. However, if your luck fails you, the cost will be dear. "You Bet Your Life" is a classic era Cthulhu Live! adventure set in Philadelphia during the Prohibition. It takes place at an illegal speakeasy. Players will be from all walks of life from politicians to made men. Costumes are encouraged. This is a DEXCON 20 exclusive event to pay homage our very first game run at DEXCON so many years ago. L0017: Freeform; "The Porch" by Damocles Thread Development. Teenagers gather together on a porch in a small town, on the last night of the summer before they all go off to college or the army or another day at the corner deli. Each one of them has a burning question they want answered - but they can't quite bring themselves to ask. "The Porch" won a Golden Cobra award for Most Convention-Ready LARP at METATOPIA 2016. L0019: "Goats 'n' Scapes" presented by Sarah McGill. GoatCam is a charitable organization, which puts cameras on goats. Its donors are philanthropists and animal lovers, who pay a lot of money to see what those goats are up to. They gather tonight on the Infinite Jest, a luxury cruise liner somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. It is 2015, the Year of the Goat (or was it the Sheep?) and more funds must be raised for those poor animals. Rare curiosities and exotics will be auctioned to the highest bidder. The ruthless social elite and corrupt power brokers will wheel and deal. The glamorous will betray the notorious. And maybe there will be one or two people who just like goats. This is a parlor LARP; players will be given a character sheet with background, objectives, and relationships. L0020: Akashic System; "Star Wars: A Wound in the Force" by Damocles Thread Development. The Force itself is screaming as the Mandalorian wars burn their way across the galaxy. World after world falls to chaos, strife, and desolation but still the Jedi Council does nothing. While the galaxy falls into anarchy one school of Jedi are beginning to question the wisdom of their masters, and a confluence of events has the brought the portents of war right to their doorstep. Come play as members of a Jedi Academy, fighting for what you believe in while dealing with the problems that come with being a budding defender of balance in a war-torn age. L0023: "Fort Builder/Capture the Flag" presented by Robert Dixon. Choose your team, build your fort, and capture the flag! Players will have a set period of time to build their base with materials provided (boxes, duct tape, PVC, etc.) and then will have to defend their base from enemy attack while stealing the enemy flag, and also reacting to surprise events happening during the rounds. L0024: "World of Warcraft: The Shadow Over Darkmoon" presented by Terra Chirieleison. Missing: Silas Darkmoon, and no one knows where he's gone. How could this have happened? Who could have done it? Can Alliance and Horde put their differences aside long enough to prevent the possible End of All Azorath? Role play and cooperative storytelling emphasized! L0025: Freeform; "Black Sunday 1935" by Damocles Thread Development. A carnival has to ride out the Black Sunday storm of '35 in the church basement of a town that both hates and loves them. L0026: Verdant Wastes; "The Beginning of the End is the Beginning, Part 2" presented by Gina Carosella. After narrowly escaping the oppressive regime of the Martian city of Syrtis Major, the rebels find themselves on a new world. Before they're able to collect themselves, they're greeted by those they thought extinct - humans. Will the Humans and Martians be able to sort out their differences before something worse comes along? Play as either the half-animal half-??? Martians or the recently resurfaced Humans as they work together to defend themselves against an unfathomable threat! It is not necessary to have played the first part of this module (at DREAMATION 2017), as everyone will be filled in on necessary information right in the beginning of the encounter. L0027: Cthulhu Live! 3.5; "Dear Old Miskatonic" by PST Productions. A DEXCON 20 EXCLUSIVE! Far above Miskatonic's waters, With its waves of green, Stands our noble Alma Mater, Glorious to be seen. Lift the chorus, speed it onward, All in such euphoric; Hail to thee, our Alma Mater! Hail, all hail, Miskatonic! Miskatonic is proud to announce the Summer of 1955 program: For the first time ever, a limited number of women will be allowed to apply for full matriculation or as Faculty at the university. With the help of the four Fraternal Orders on campus; female applicants will have the chance to establish their Sororities, and show off their skills for consideration by Admissions Staff and Dean of Students. The university implores women of academic talent to apply for a chance to participate in the summer program, and seeks volunteers from the current student body to act as campus ambassadors.The program kicks off in July with a semi-formal Open House; with chaperones and parents invited to attend. There will be opportunities to tour the campus and meet some of the faculty and staff. Guests will receive accommodations in the university dormitories. L0028: Knight Realms; "The Gate's Rest Tavern". Welcome to the Gate's Rest Tavern in Altrion, your last stop before crossing the Great Rift into Travance! Here you will find a strange assortment of travelers and adventurers on their way to glory and fortune, or sometimes something more sinister. L0029: Legend of the Five Rings LARP; "The Next Emperor of Rokugon" presented by Grace Lyttle. The Empress Iweko I has died. Representatives from each clan have been summoned to the Imperial Court to name one of her twin sons the next Emperor. But would a warrior empress real commit seppuku so she would not die of an unclean illness, or is there a reason she was stabbed to death? Maybe deciding the next Emperor will not be so easy. This is a court intrigue LARP set within the world of the Legend of the Five Rings. Think feudal Japan with magic. As always, new players are welcome. We will have PreGens, but you are welcome to bring your own charachter. Please note if you do want to bring your own character, we are using the 4th Edition RPG rulebook. L0030: Vampire: The Masquerade; "Dark Ages: Vying for the Crown" by Kitsune Entertainment. The Prince of London must vacate their position. Now those in a position of power are making their bid for Prince known to the entire Domain. Which Clan will rise to the top in this, the ultimate grab for power? Players may contact us to build their own characters (subject to certain character creation rules), or they may take a character at the door. L0031: Vampire: The Masquerade; "Victorian Age: The Peace Accords" by Kitsune Entertainment. The Prince of London has made an unprecedented move: Invite the Sabbat to an Elysium to try and heal the rift between the Camarilla and the Sabbat.
