You may ONLY reserve seats in DEXCON 21 events if you are pre-registered. Click here to pre-register for DEXCON 21 if you have not already done so.

To reserve your spot in the events you want to play in, send eMail to: dexcon21@dexposure.com and include your name and the events you want to register for BY CODE ONLY! NOTE: You may ONLY choose Event Codes which are SHOWN IN GREEN. DO NOT CHOOSE CODES WHICH ARE SHOWN IN RED and have LOCKS on them. Red Event Codes indicate locked events which you cannot register for, later rounds in tournaments which you will be automatically advanced to from preliminary rounds, or events which have already filled up to capacity (this page will be updated several times before the convention starts).

NOTE: The CUTOFF for reserving events is 10:00AM EST on Wednesday, July 4. After that time, you can ONLY reserve events by physically entering your name on the Big Board when you arrive at the convention.

We allow you to select second and third choices for a given time slot; indicate this clearly in whatever fashion you'd like, otherwise we will just leave that slot open.

We will reply to your email with a confirmation that your reservations were received as quickly as possible. Note that you MUST include a valid eMail reply-to address for us to reach you to confirm. If you have previously selected LARPs and/or Signature Events, they will be included in this confirmation.

At the appropriate time, you will cancel one or the other. Note that all available events are shown in GREEN, and all advancement rounds are shown in RED.

B255: 7 Wonders. Lead one of the seven great cities of the Ancient world. Exploit the natural resources of your lands, take part in the eternal march of progress, develop your commercial relationships and assert your military might. Leave your mark in the history of civilization by building an architectural marvel that will transcend the ages to come. Various expansions may be used at the discretion of the players. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

B256: Boggle. The family favorite game of creating words out of a random collection of letters in a grid. Can you make the most words? Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Serious, All Ages. See Also: B671, B913.

B257: Coconuts. An Envoy Event! A dexterity game based on the "Monkey King" character from Chinese mythology. In the game, players launch coconuts toward a field of cups in the middle of the playing area. Land in a cup, and you get to stack it on your player board; land in a cup on someone else's board, and you get to move it to yours. By playing special "Monkey King Magic" cards, you can force opponents to shoot blind, take long shots, or otherwise bollix their efforts to cup a coconut. Whoever first completes a pyramid of six cups on his player board wins! Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B342, B470, B747, B881.

B258: Eminent Domain. An Envoy Event! Eminent Domain is a civilization-building game in which your civilization's abilities are based on a deck of Role cards. At the beginning of the game each player has the same deck of cards, with just two cards for each Role in it. Every turn you must choose a Role to execute (and like Glory to Rome or Puerto Rico, your opponents will get a chance to follow suit), and in doing so you will add one of those Role cards to your deck. When executing a Role, you can boost its effect by playing cards out of your hand matching the Role you have chosen. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B750. ONLY ONE SEAT LEFT!

B259: Flamme Rouge. An Envoy Event! A fast-paced, tactical bicycle racing game where each player controls a team of two riders: a Rouleur and a Sprinteur. The players’ goal is to be the first to cross the finish line with one of their riders. Players move their riders forward by drawing and playing cards from that riders specific deck, depleting it as they go. Use slipstreams to avoid exhaustion and position your team for a well timed sprint for the win. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

B260: Kerala: The Way of the Elephant. An Envoy Event! Welcome to the elephant festival in the Indian province of Kerala! Colorfully decorated elephants roam everywhere, and naturally players want to participate and make the most magnificent fairground with as many elephants as possible. In Kerala, each player wants to take at least one tile of each color, and all tiles of one color should be joined together, but of course the players are constantly getting in the way of one another and grabbing the tiles that someone else wants. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. ONLY ONE SEAT LEFT!

B261: Legendary: Buffy The Vampire Slayer. The newest addition to the Legendary series. In Legendary, a semi-cooperative deck-building game, players use fan-favorite characters including Buffy, Angel, Willow, and Giles and attempt to stop a Big Bad and their nefarious Schemes. Players win the game if the Big Bad is beaten four times, and lose if the Big Bad is able to complete their Scheme. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B406, B719, B888. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN FILLED! You may sign up as an Alternate at the convention.

B262: Love Letter. Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire! Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B300, B538.

B263: Meduris: Der Ruf der Gotter. An Envoy Event! Following the call of the gods, the players settle at the base of mountain Meduris. Building huts, bringing offerings to the druid, gathering precious runestones, and building monumental temples is the only way to earn the favor of the gods in Meduris. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. ONLY ONE SEAT LEFT!

B264: Mice and Mystics. A cooperative adventure game in which the players work together to save an imperiled kingdom. They will face countless adversaries such as rats, cockroaches, and spiders, and of course the greatest of all horrors: the castle's housecat, Brodie. Mice and Mystics is a boldly innovative game that thrusts players into an ever-changing, interactive environment, and features a rich storyline that the players help create as they play the game. The Cheese System allows players to hoard the crumbs of precious cheese they find on their journey, and use it to bolster their mice with grandiose new abilities and overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B480. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN FILLED! You may sign up as an Alternate at the convention.

B265: Panamax. An Envoy Event! In this new game from Stronghold Games, each player manages a shipping company established in the Colon Free Trade Zone. Companies accept contracts from both US coasts, China and Europe and deliver cargo in order to make money, attract investment and pay dividends. At the same time the players accumulate their own stock investments and try to make as much money as possible in an effort to have the largest personal fortune and win the game. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Serious, All Ages. See Also: B895. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN FILLED! You may sign up as an Alternate at the convention.

B266: Terraforming Mars. An Envoy Event! In the 2400s, mankind begins to terraform the planet Mars. Giant corporations, sponsored by the World Government on Earth, initiate huge projects to raise the temperature, the oxygen level, and the ocean coverage until the environment is habitable. In Terraforming Mars, you play one of those corporations and work together in the terraforming process, but compete for getting victory points that are awarded not only for your contribution to the terraforming, but also for advancing human infrastructure throughout the solar system, and doing other commendable things. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B412, B548, B691.

B267: Ultimate Werewolf. An Envoy Event! Your quiet little 16th century village has suddenly become infested with some very unfriendly werewolves...can you and the other villagers find them before they devour everyone? Each player has an agenda: as a villager, hunt down the werewolves; as a werewolf, convince the other villagers that you're innocent, while secretly dining on those same villagers each night. Dozens of special roles are available to help both the villagers and the werewolves achieve their goals while thwarting their opponents. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B417, B439, B458, B642, B662, B824, B856, B873, B943.

B268: Valley of the Kings: Last Rites. Take on the role of Egyptian nobles at the time of the pharaohs, preparing for death and burial in the Valley of the Kings. Players want to fill their tombs with food, amulets, and other treasures, and to do so they acquire cards that are laid out in the shape of a pyramid; purchase cards at the base of the pyramid, and it "crumbles" to bring cards higher in the pyramid to the base where they can be bought. The pyramid resets each round with new offerings. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN FILLED! You may sign up as an Alternate at the convention.

B269: Wasteland Express Delivery Service. An Envoy Event! Take on the role of drivers inhabiting a post-apocalyptic wasteland riddled with outrageous, unhinged, and otherworldly characters who are set on unleashing mayhem at every turn. To survive in this deranged universe, drivers must haul food, water, and guns between the handful of settlements pockmarked through the wasteland. You must battle insane raiders who occupy the void between cities, taking on missions from the three factions that have divided up the last of civilization: the fascist New Republic Army, is hellbent on bringing the world to heel for its own good; the heretical Oracles of Ceres, who have turned their attention to the worship of the land; and the technologically obsessed Archivists, who cling to the old ways and the hope of restoring our lost civilization. But what do you care? You're here to get paid and live another day free. Outfit your truck, hire some insane riders to help fend off raiders, add some storage, and just keep truckin'. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B361, B489, B826.

B270: Werebeasts. An Envoy Event! You are a key player in the lucrative but dangerous business of collecting werebeasts. Armed with only your good looks and several cans of indescribably tasty werechow, you must bid for the werebeasts you need - and also for the ones you don't in hopes of throwing your opponents off track. Your fellow collectors in Werebeasts are also collecting certain creatures that have the most value to them. If you can hide your intentions long enough, you'll be rewarded. If you can make it to the end of the game without getting caught, you just might win. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B827, B926.

B271: Word Slam. An Envoy Event! Two teams compete against one another simultaneously. In each round, one player on each team tries to get their teammates to guess a hidden word or phrase using only the 105 explanatory cards available in the box. Speaking and acting is absolutely forbidden for the storytellers! They must tell their stories using only 105 cards, each with one word on it: a noun, verb, adjective, or preposition. A player can use as many explanatory cards as desired, and whichever team guesses correctly first scores a point. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins! Wednesday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B440, B615, B790.

B272: The King's Abbey. An Envoy Event! A worker placement/resource management game in which each player has their own player board that represents the abbey they have been tasked to build. Players take charge of monks that are represented by ten dice as they go out and gather resources, go on crusades, construct buildings, train clergy, bring in peasants, and defend their abbey against the darkness. Each player does this by rolling their dice and then assigning each die (monk) to different places on their player board, resource boards, and crusade cards. The places on the player boards will bring in peasants and train clergy. The places on the resource boards will give them wood, grain, stone, and sand for building the various parts of their individual abbeys. Wednesday, 10:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

B274: Above and Below. An Envoy Event! A mashup of town-building and storytelling where you and up to three friends compete to build the best village above and below ground. In the game, you send your villagers to perform jobs like exploring the cave, harvesting resources, and constructing houses. Each villager has unique skills and abilities, and you must decide how to best use them. You have your own personal village board, and you slide the villagers on this board to various areas to indicate that they've been given jobs to do. Will you send Hanna along on the expedition to the cave? Or should she instead spend her time teaching important skills to one of the young villagers? Wednesday, 11:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B589.

B275: Castles of Mad King Ludwig. An Envoy Event! In this tile-laying game from Bezier Games, players are tasked with building an amazing, extravagant castle for King Ludwig II of Bavaria...one room at a time. You see, the King loves castles, having built Neuschwanstein (the castle that inspired the Disney theme park castles) and others, but now he's commissioned you to build the biggest, best castle ever - subject, of course, to his ever-changing whims. Each player acts as a building contractor who is adding rooms to the castle he's building while also selling his services to other players. Wednesday, 11:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B315.

B276: Smash Up. An Envoy Event! This "shufflebuilding" game starts with a simple premise: Take the twenty-card decks of two factions, shuffle them into a forty-card deck, then compete to smash more Bases than your opponents! Each faction brings a different game mechanism into play – pirates move cards, zombies bring cards back from the discard pile, dinosaurs have huge power – and every combination of factions brings a different play experience. Wednesday, 11:00PM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B394, B808, B923.

B278: AFFLICTION: Salem 1692. The hysteria over witches among the people of Salem swept the region like a disease in 1692. As is the case in any tragic event, there are those whom will use the circumstances to their advantage. Under the veil of the witch-hunt lie other motivations; power, greed, revenge and righteousness. Use your influence to whisper in the ear of the magistrate, Judge, Governor, or Minister to protect some and have others arrested. Will you protect your friends, accuse your enemies, generate fear, or use spectral evidence to weaken even the strongest in Salem? Wednesday, 12:00AM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B425, B740. THIS EVENT HAS BEEN FILLED! You may sign up as an Alternate at the convention.

B279: Dominion. In this immensely popular Rio Grande game, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end. Dominion is not a CCG, but the play of the game is similar to the construction and play of a CCG deck. We might be using the expansion sets, as players want. Wednesday, 12:00AM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B472, B712, B885.

B280: Indian Summer. An Envoy Event! Indian Summer is the second part of Uwe Rosenberg's puzzle trilogy following 2016's Cottage Garden, and this game is firmly geared towards experienced players. At the heart of the game are puzzle tiles with holes that are placed on individual forest boards to cover up treasures. When players get their hands on these, they gain more options and an edge over their opponents. All that counts in the end is to be the first to cover your forest floor completely with leaves. Wednesday, 12:00AM - 2:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B323, B935.

In the course of a single morning, your village will decide who is a werewolf...because all it takes is lynching one werewolf to win! This event will be played as several rounds, keeping score for each player (winning side or losing side). B434: Exploding Kittens. A kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game. The deck is made up of cards that let you avoid exploding by peeking at cards before you draw, forcing your opponent to draw multiple cards, or shuffling the deck. The game gets more and more intense with each card you draw because fewer cards left in the deck means a greater chance of drawing the kitten and exploding in a fiery ball of feline hyperbole. Thursday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Silly, Under 18 Requires Parental Clearance.

B435: Get Rich Quick. An Envoy Event! Regretfully, the players around you are at work to ensure they get there first, forcing you to use tactics they do not teach at school to outsmart them in this race to reach the illusive nirvana. Thursday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

B436: Las Vegas. Las Vegas includes six cardboard casino mats, one for each side of a normal six-sided die. For each mat, players draw money cards until at least $50k is showing, but the amount may end up being a lot more, making that casino more desirable. Each player has eight dice of a different color, which they take turns rolling. When you roll your dice, you can choose to place them on the relevant casino cards; for example, a die showing a 1 will be placed on the casino mat marked "1". You must place all dice of one number on one casino in your turn. Thursday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages.

B437: Super Rhino Hero. An Envoy Event! Players are presented with an incredibly heroic – and regrettably heavy – rhinoceros who is eager to climb a tall building and leap other tall buildings in a single bound. First, though, you need to construct that building. Players each start the game with five roof cards, and they take turns adding walls and roofs to a single building. On a turn, you first place walls on the highest floor, then you choose a roof card in your hand and place it on the wall. Each roof card bears markings that indicate where the next player must place walls on the card. In addition, some roof cards force a player to perform special actions, such as placing a second roof, changing the direction of play, or moving Super Rhino to a new location on the tower. Keep your hands steady! The first player to build all of his roof cards wins the game. Alternatively, if the building collapses, the player who caused the collapse automatically loses, and the player with the fewest roof cards in hand wins. This event will be played with the GIANT Japanese set! Thursday, 10:00PM - 12:00AM; One Session; All Materials Provided. Beginners Welcome; Fun, All Ages. See Also: B547, B854.

Players are either Resistance Operatives or Imperial Spies. For three to five rounds, they must depend on each other to carry out missions against the Empire. At the same time, they must try to deduce the other players' identities and gain their trust. Each round begins with discussion. When ready, the Leader entrusts sets of Plans to a certain number of players (possibly including himself/herself). Everyone votes on whether or not to approve the assignment. Once an assignment passes, the chosen players secretly decide to Support or Sabotage the mission. Based on the results, the mission succeeds (Resistance win) or fails (Empire win). B454: Nocturnes. You have all agreed to be research subjects for studies on sleep and dreams. The researchers are primarily interested in psychological responses to terror and have invited you to participate in an overnight experiment. However, as the game progresses things spiral out of control. You all have a preset number of starting sanity points kept in front of you. You begin the game on the starting tile which will expand to create the game board. The game proceeds with players laying down tiles and moving from one tile to the next. Most of the tiles contain nightmares that slowly remove sanity points from the players who land on them. A few tiles do not initially remove sanity and you must strategize to take advantage of those. You also have action cards to impact player sanity, impacting the tiles or the other players. Cleverly combining tiles and action cards can do a lot of damage. All players lose sanity, and once a player reaches zero sanity they are out of the game. The person who keeps at least one sanity the longest wakes up with sanity intact, winning the game.
